The Quetzalcoatlus IRL
The Quetzalcoatlus, a pterosaur, was the largest flying animal known. Although lightweight for its size, (less than 200 pounds), the Quetzalcoatlus boasted a wingspan of up to forty feet. Not much is known about their feeding habits, but their long neck and beak possibly aided in the acquisition of its meals. They became extinct about 65 million years ago.
